Prenatal / Postnatal Yoga

Class Description:

A yoga class specially designed both to prepare pregnant women for labor and delivery through postures, breathing exercises and relaxation as well as alleviate the common discomforts of pregnancy such as back pain, sciatica, leg cramps and insomnia. The practice will be focused on a gentle flow of movement to increase your overall strength and flexibility with modifications to accommodate the various stages of pregnancy. Whether you have an established yoga or are brand new to yoga, these unique classes offer you techniques to restore balance and vitality during pregnancy as well as assisting to prepare for and provide relief during labor and birth.   All Levels Welcome!

Restorative Yoga

Thursdays    7:15-8:15 PM      

Class Description:

A 60 min Restorative Yoga Class designed to bring balance and deep healing to the mind, body & spirit. The practice is focused on entering a deep relaxation state with extended holds in supported postures, focused pranayama or breathing practices and guided visualizations. In a culture where we often are on the go all the time with little room to stop & breath, this class is a perfect balance to press the much needed "reset button" for healing and wellness. All levels of experience welcome. Pregnant Moms are welcome too


Postnatal / Mom & Baby Yoga Series 

Wednesdays @ 1PM (Infants to Precrawlers)    

Fridays @ 11:30 AM  (Infants to Precrawlers)   

 

Class Description:

Come enjoy a yoga class specifically designed for moms and infants, a time to reconnect with your body through focused stretches and strengthening poses catered to postpartum moms. It's also a great opportunity to meet a community of moms with infants in this area. Moms and babies will bond and enjoy some guided infant massage and stretches for the little ones. Class is open to infants to precrawlers.

Morning Yoga Flow

Tuesday & Thursday @ 9-10am

Better than your cup of morning chai!  Welcome in the day with this 60 minute alignment based flow class that blending movement, pranayama and meditation. Beginning with sun salutations and then working our way toward approachable apex postures, emphasis will be placed on establishing steadiness, ease, moving energy and breathwork. Class will close with a brief meditation to get centered in preparation for the day ahead. This class open to a wide range of practitioners, with a moderate level of intensity. Come in sleepy, leave happy.
