Nicole "Nika" Fugo Zibelman | Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Yoga Teacher & Mama
I was raised in the gardens and kitchens of strong Italian matriarchs who taught me lessons beyond simple words. We turned soil, grew giant juicy red tomatoes, stirred cauldrons of steaming pots of pasta, sewed torn clothes by hand and made use of all things as sacred & valuable. The “old ways” passed down to me as ancient secrets carried the essence of simplicity; of living in rhythm with nature; using medicine from the plants around us; finding the sacred in each form.
My life path has been dedicated to offering a sustainable, balanced way of living to my clients and to myself. This path has been shaped by my passion for serving women and being an advocate for women’s wellness. My holistic practice has been focused in assisting women with reproductive health, pregnancy, birth and postpartum care as well as prenatal and post partum yoga classes. I also support babies and children with acupuncture, "shonishin" treatments (japanese acupressure), herbal medicine and moxa therapy.
In 2013, my husband and I welcomed our first daughter into the world and our second daughter arrived in February 2016. My first hand experience of pregnancy, birth, postpartum and motherhood have added a deeper layer of understanding and wisdom to my professional practice and work with women.
I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
